2022 is almost over. And here at the last day of the year, one cannot help but to reflect on what had happened and what had been achieved throughout the year. For us in FILPAL, 2022 is no doubt one of the most exciting and happening year. With big strides taken in all areas in the company. Overall, we are grateful for what we are able to achieve. Here’s a few key highlights for the years.
Making Friends
This year saw us making friends with many from the industry. Being in Penang, Malaysia, nicknamed the ‘Silicon Valley of the East’, we have many great opportunities to meet and host many from the electronics industry. We are glad to be able to make many new friends this year, and with COVID-19 restrictions loosening, to reconnect with many old ones! There were so many fruitful discussions that happens from our visits to their company and their visits to ours, where we share our dreams, our offerings and get to know each others’ needs and how can we work and partner together. We in FILPAL are glad, grateful and even honored for the many friendships and partnerships we made this year.
ISO 9001:2015
Another great achievement this year is we finally, and officially got our ISO 9001 certification. We are all excited for this because it is an accolade that confirms our hardware products are certified to have consistent quality. With ISO 9001, our partners and customers from both the local market and the international market can rest assure of the standard of quality of our product. Working on the ISO 9001:2015 certification process also helps us to iron out many of the flaws in our workflow and set us up for bigger expansion in the future. We are grateful for that!
Giving Talks, Trainings and Exhibitions
After enduring the COVID-19 lockdown years, in 2022, we finally regain the chance to go out there to give talks, organize trainings and exhibitions. From being invited to give a talk in AMCHAM to being invited to host UiTM RF and Microwave Day. We are honored to be able to share our knowledge and insights on what we know about RF and Microwave. We still believe in the need to train up talents in RF and Microwave sector.
Thus, we are excited to launch our RF Industry-Ready Training Program in 2023 as the ‘next step’ in our endeavors to train, share and impart our knowledge in RF and Microwave to the industry, both local and international!
A New Website, Online RF Calculator
This year, we overhauled our entire website with a fresh new look. We introduce E-commerce to our website and many custom inquiry forms where interested parties can use the intuitive UI to send us detailed inquiries on specific products they are interested! Entering into 2023, we plan to upgrade it further to make our website more intuitive and easier to contact us with. Stay tune!
The software team was also hard at work. And one of the new introduction to our service is the brand new online RF calculator. Check it out here. This easy to use tool is design to perform simple conversions to complex RF engineering calculations on the go! You should check it out!
Onward to 2023
a chapter closes, a new one open. Moving into 2023, we are looking forward to more exciting things. Here are some to name a few:

- AI Assisted Structural Optimization
